Brussel Helpt is the annual fundraiser organized by BRUZZ in cooperation with its Brussels partners. This year ‘Brussel Helpt’ will support Babytheek Brussel.
Sarah Van Riel and Eva van Velzen from Babytheek are tremendously happy with that choice. In the BRUZZ studio, Sarah said: “This is a huge recognition for the work we have delivered so far. For some time, we have been feeling the need to expand the project in Brussels. Thanks to Brussel Helpt, we will have the opportunity to open more Babyteks in Brussels! “
The Babytheek is a library for baby things: a handy lending system for baby things that you only need for a short time. Whether your living conditions are cramped, whether you have a limited budget, or you just believe in having fewer things … the Babytheek is the answer for young families looking for sustainable baby stuff.
The very first Babytheek opened in April 2018 at the Elzenhof community centre; since then, similar services have opened in other cities and towns.
With the support of Brussel Helpt, Babytheek Brussel aims to extend its services to other Brussels locations.
Support Brussel Helpt
Support Brussel Helpt by taking part, on 28 November 2020, in the take-away edition of the Biggest Spaghetti Fest in the World, in aid of Babytheek Brussel. Get your bubble of friends interested and order take-away spaghetti from someone in your own neighbourhood. Or go to work in your own kitchen and invite other Brussels folk to come and collect spaghetti from you. (Brussel Helpt will ensure that everything can be done in a corona-proof way and will provide the necessary material for the take-away service.)
If you want, there is a third way to you can support Brussel Helpt and Babytheek Brussel: give a gift of an annual subscription to Babytheek Brussel, worth €20.
